Swamp Bowl
The 22nd Annual Swamp Bowl
Regional Flag Football Tournament was held in Gainesville, Florida on October
23-25. A total of 40 teams came to Gainesville to compete in
three divisions -Mens, Womens and Co-Rec. The 40 teams battled in upwards of
8 games over three days for the title of Swamp Bowl Champion. In the Mens
Division, The Immortals from the University of Central Florida defeated Gator
Escort from the University of Florida by a final score of 27-0. In the
Women's final, USF All-Stars from the University of South Florida converted on a
late drive to defeat FAMU Simply Marvelous. USF All-Stars defeated FAMU 14-12.
In the Co-Rec division the Dirty Birds of Florida Gulf Coast University defeated Sexy Never Left from the University of Florida 15-9.
