Founded in 1953 by Alan C. Moore, the University of Florida Men's Soccer Club is the oldest collegiate soccer club in the nation. The club has had the most success in recent years with a current record of 116-24-21 since 2007. From 2007, the club has been crowned champions of the AC Moore Spring Tournament, FSU Invitational, Florida Invitational, Clemson Socctoberfest, and the Region II tournament twice in 2010 and 2012. With the club’s first Nationals’ appearance beginning in 2007, the club has continued the streak with five more consecutive appearances while becoming National Runners-up in 2009. With a perfect 8-0 record this spring, UFSC looks to win a National Championship this coming fall 2013 for the club’s 60th anniversary.
