The Indoor Soccer Skills Challenge will consist of THREE events. All three events will be scored separately and a champion will be crowned for each event.
Event #1: Accuracy Competition
Six targets will be set up in the goal for each shooter to aim at. Each shooter will have 15 shots to hit as many of the targets as they can. If the shooter successfully hits all 6 targets with shots to spare, they can continue kicking at any of the remaining targets left to accumulate more points. The shooter CANNOT hit the same target twice until all 6 targets have successfully been hit.
Event #2: Speed Dribbling
Each player will be timed as they dribble through the obstacle course. Any obstacle missed or not completely correctly (i.e. hitting a cone) will result in a 2-second penalty. The clock will start on the player's first touch and will stop when their body and ball cross the finish line.
Event #3: Keeper's Challenge
Each goalkeeper will have 60 seconds to stop as many balls as they can. Balls will be thrown or kicked by three officials from different angles. The officials will shoot in a set order that will be determined at the start of the event. The keeper must remain in the Keeper's Box at all times or the save will not count.
The winner of each event will be notified through e-mail and given an Intramural Championship T-Shirt!
