Wake and Ski

The Gator Wake and Ski club won the 2003, 2006, 2009 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS at the World Wakeboarding Association Collegiate Wakeboard National Championships.
The Florida Wake and Ski Club is designed to promote waterskiing and wakeboarding at the University of Florida, improve the skill level of its members, and increase collegiate level competition. Skiers of all disciplines and skill levels are welcome to join. Practice is held twice a week on days and times provided by the staff at Lake Wauburg. Members may compete in tournaments throughout Florida and the Southeast, including our own invitational held every semester.

Please call for practice times and more information. The University of Florida won the team title at the third annual Collegiate Wakeboard Nationals on Sunday 4/19/2009 in Boulder, Colo. The Gators defeated Texas A&M in the finals. Defending champion Central Florida along with UNC-Wilmington were the other two teams that advanced to the final four. Twelve of the nation's top collegiate wakeboarding teams participated in the event.Contacts:
