Lacrosse - Men

(Founded 1971)

Lacrosse is an ancient Native American sport which is often referred to as "the fastest game on two feet." Two opposing teams vie to throw a small, hard rubber ball into a goal at opposite sides of a field using sticks with netted heads at one end.  Although the game of Lacrosse requires hard skill and determination, players of all calibers are welcome.  Players must provide their own equipment, however, team orders are placed at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters.

The Florida Men's Lacrosse Club has grown into a revered team among other collegiate lacrosse clubs. The strong work ethic and outstanding player skills bring Gainesville an excellent team.
