Cycling

(Founded 1985)

Team Florida, a club team of The University of Florida and member of the Southeastern Collegiate Cycling Conference (SECCC), has flourished since beginning in 1985. Team Florida is the reigning SECCC champion in both Mountain Bike and Road racing.  The club's objective is to advance the sport of cycling through collegiate competition.  Cyclists of all skill levels and genders are welcome

Practice Schedule:

Come join us on our group road rides Tuesday/Thursday at 5:30pm and Saturday/Sunday at 9:15am at Turlington Plaza. There is a no-drop policy (we stay in one pack), so you've got nothing to worry about. Everyone is welcome on these rides - beginners and experts alike. The only requirement is that you wear a helmet and have a waiver on file.

If you are interested in mountain biking, the best way to find out about rides is to join the listserv or contact Vice President, Alicia Provenzano for more information.

Many additional rides are organized over the team listserve, so be sure to sign up!
