Breakdancing

(Founded 2002)
The UF Breakdance club focuses on the athletic and competitive aspects of breakdancing. We also include competitive popping and locking.
The practice room is walled in multiple mirrors. The floor is polished hardwood. We have a mat available.
We welcome all skills levels.
Please:

Don't be afraid to ask for help.

Remember we all were beginners at one point.

Bring your Gator 1 Card

Knee and elbow pads are suggested.

Wear comfortable clothes and sneakers

Sign a waiver for your first time. You can do this by at practice or in advance by printing one from here.

Realize that you develop strength, balance, and agility over time from practice.

Drink plenty of water.
We practice on the 2nd Floor in the Student Rec and Fitness Center [next to the infirmary].

You can come and go at anytime, but please be timely to get the most out of your practice.

Beginners are encouraged to come on time, as tutoring is likely to be taught in the first hour.

Stretching beforehand is suggested to save you time to practice.
