Racquetball

Intramural Sports offers Singles and Doubles Racquetball every Fall and Spring semester.

General Information

  • Players will be randomly placed in player pools of four persons/doubles. Players will then play a round robin regular season where each player/doubles is guaranteed THREE matches. Players/doubles with a record of .500 or better in the regular season will advance to a single elimination post-season tournament.

  • Regular season schedules have "play by" dates on them and each match must be played by the "play by" date.  Matches not completed by this date will result in a double forfeit.  There will no longer be match extensions due to the nature of the season. Matches "play by" date will be the Saturday of that week by noon. The next week's matches will begin Sunday. Players are responsible for contacting their opponent and scheduling a time to play. Both players must agree on the scheduled game time.

  • Post-season brackets have "play by" dates on them. Each match for that round must be played by the "play by" date.  Matches not completed by this date will result in a double forfeit.  There will no longer be match extensions due to the nature of the season.   • The winner of the match (regular or post-season) is responsible for submitting the results via a signed scoresheet (by both persons) to the office mailbox of Michael June, Program Assistant, (in RM 120 of SWRC) within 24 hours of match completion.

  • If a player does not show up for the schedule playing time, that player will forfeit.  Any scheduling or results discrepancies need to be brought to the attention of Michael June as soon as possible.

  • Pools will be posted shortly after the deadline and when groupings are complete.
  •  
  • Playoff brackets will be posted 2 days after the end of the regular season.
