Intramural Sports vs. Sport Clubs
The difference between Intramural Sports and Sport Clubs is a common question among students and participants alike. Intramural Sports allows students, faculty, staff and their spouses to compete in many of their favorite sports and activities each semester. Intramural sports are semi-competitive leagues that compete only against other teams from within the university, whereas Sport Clubs are designed to allow students, faculty, staff and their spouses to compete on the intercollegiate level.
- Intramural Sports can be as competitive or non-competitive as you make it to be. It is as simple as showing up to a meeting to get involved in with Intramural Sports. For information on the sports available and the sign-up procedures please visit the Intramural Sports link on the Website.
- The Sport Clubs program offers students the opportunity to compete in almost 40 unique clubs that are all competitive in nature. Sports Clubs compete against other colleges throughout the Southeast and on the national level at national championship events. For more information on available Sport Clubs and how to get involved please visit the Sport Clubs link on the Website.
