This weekend, the Women’s Lacrosse club traveled to Kennesaw State University, GA, to compete in their last event of the semester. The club finished as the only undefeated team of the weekend going 4-0 with wins over Kennesaw State, UCF, South Carolina, and Alabama.
Florida Crew traveled to Chattanooga, TN, this weekend to compete in the second largest regatta in the world, Head of the Hooch. Teams traveled to Chattanooga from all over the country to compete and many races had more than 25 boats. Florida Crew was highlighted by a third place finish in the women’s lightweight 8+ category.
The Table Tennis club traveled to Tallahassee, FL, last weekend to compete in the NCTTA Panhandle Division Tournament. UF finished second out of seven participating teams thanks to undefeated performances by members, Kyle Moyant, Ajit Mutha, Michael Kimmel, and Richard Natto.
The weekend of October 28-29, the Fencing Club traveled to Philadelphia, PA, to compete in the Temple Open. The tournament consisted of over 30 teams and, at times, pitted UF fencers against one another. The weekend was highlighted by a fifth place medal for Alexis Taylor, in the Women’s Saber division, as well as top 16 finishes for Bill Bird and AJ Quereshi, in the Men’s Saber division.
