Marketing Assistant

• Rate of Pay: Starting, $7.50/hr
• Duties:
· Assist in the development and execution of RecSports marketing plans

· Marketing materials include: RecSports: The Magazine, bulletin boards, posters, Facebook Fan Page, giveaways/promotional items, Web buttons, marquees, e-mail blasts, The Alligator/Reitz calendars, press releases, Gator Times submissions etc.

· Working with advertisers for RecSports: The Magazine and sponsors for events

· Working with Graduate Assistants in the promotion of RecSports through Preview Orientation presentations

· Working in a team environment alongside designers, Web developers and project managers in a professional-client environment

· Maintain professional relationships with clients, co-workers and associates

· Display responsible and quality work ethic at all times

· Willingness to embrace learning opportunities

· Fulfill scheduled tasks/projects in a timely manner by meeting deadlines

· Maintain scheduled office hours

· Contribute 10 or more hours per week

• Requirements/Qualifications:
· University of Florida student

· Previous marketing experience desired

· Strong writing skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)

· Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs is a plus

Marketing Design Assistant

• Rate of Pay: Starting, $8.25/hr
• Duties:
· Working in a team environment alongside designers, Web developers and project managers in a professional-client environment

· Creating quality promotional materials for the department including but not limited to: signage, print publications, apparel and Web content

· Maintain professional relationships with clients, co-workers and associates

· Display responsible and quality work ethic at all times

· Willingness to embrace learning opportunities

· Fulfill scheduled tasks/projects in a timely manner by meeting deadlines

· Maintain scheduled office hours

· Contribute 10 or more hours per week

• Requirements/Qualifications:
· University of Florida student

· Previous design experience with portfolio must be available upon request

· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs

·
Working knowledge of Adobe Production Suite programs is a plus

· Working knowledge of HTML and CSS Web encoding is a plus

Marketing Web/Multimedia Assistant

• Rate of Pay: Starting, $9.00/hr
• Duties:
· Maintaining and updating RecSports Web site

· Develop dynamic, interactive Web site and software components using PHP, HTML, XHTML, XML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX and other related technologies


· Working in a team environment alongside designers, Web developers and project managers in a professional-client environment

· Maintain professional relationships with clients, co-workers and associates

· Display responsible and quality work ethic at all times

· Willingness to embrace learning opportunities

· Fulfill scheduled tasks/projects in a timely manner by meeting deadlines

· Maintain scheduled office hours

· Contribute 10 or more hours per week
• Requirements/Qualifications:
· University of Florida student

· Expert knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS, asp.net and Javascript

· Previous web experience

· Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs is a plus

· Working knowledge of Adobe Production Suite programs is a plus

· Must be able to communicate effectively with team members and clients both verbally and written

Photographer

• Rate of Pay: $8.50/hr
• Duties:
· Photograph RecSports programs, special events and activities

· Edit images using Photoshop or related software

· Must be able to work weekends and evenings

• Requirements/Qualifications:
· University of Florida student

· Must have access to/own professional level photography equipment
