Swamp Bowl 2009
The 22nd Swamp Bowl Flag Football Tournament was held October 23-25.  Check out all of the results as well as a highlight reel of the weekend's events by clicking the link above!

Ultimate Frisbee Champions Crowned!

On Wednesday, November 18, the Fall 2009 Ultimate Frisbee Finals were held at UVS Fields.  Two finals games were held with Shenanigans up against My Disk in the Men's (Open) final and Whatever You Like and Clap Your Hands Say No! in the Co-Rec final.  To see the results and championship pictures, go to the Ultimate Frisbee website.

Fall 2009 Track Meet

Ready! Set! GO!!

This year's Intramural Track Meet was held at Percy Beard Track on Thursday, November 5th.  Over 20 teams and over 250 participants came out this year to the event to run, jump, and even throw a little bit.

In the men's division, Blaze was just able to edge out SigEp due to a dominant performance in the long jump.

In the women's division, the TriGators dominated from start to finish, winning by 45 points over their nearest competitor.

Punt, Pass, & Kick

The Punt, Pass, & Kick Contest was held on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at the Southwest Fields. 7 women and 43 men competed to see who could total the greatest distance between 3 pass, punt, and kick attempts. At the end of the night three were left standing, with a Men's Champion and a tie for the Women's Champion! Congratulations to all our champions and thanks to all our participants!

Welcome to the Intramural Sports Program!

The Intramural Sports staff is here to serve you and to do everything possible to make sure that your experience is a positive one.  We offer a number of different team and individual activities for students, faculty, staff and spouses to participate in.  From sports such as flag football, basketball, and soccer to kickball, racquetball and individual sports such as 3-point contests and homerun competitions, there is something for everyone!  This participation allows for growth throughout the campus community as well as personal achievement.

Intramural Sports employs more than 450 students each year.  Officiating sports such as flag football, basketball, softball, soccer and volleyball is a great way to earn extra money and meet new people!

To gain access to this or any Recreational Sports program or facility, you must present a valid Gator 1 Card.  Remember, NO Gator 1 Card means No PLAY!
