Adult Swimming Instruction

The Department Recreational Sports will be offering free swimming instructions during the Fall 2007semester at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center Pool. These classes are for faculty, staff and students only. There are no swimming lessons for children at this time. In order to participate in the free instructions, you must have a valid University of Florida Gator 1 ID card.

Classes will focus on two areas of swim instruction:  Adult Learn to Swim for non swimmers and beginning swimmers and the Adult Stroke Clinic for learning a new stroke or refining your strokes. Swimming Instruction Schedule

Adult Learn to Swim:     7 p.m., 8 p.m.,  (Each is a half hour lesson)

Registration 
E-mail aquatics@recsports.ufl.edu, with the subject line titled Swimming Instruction by Thursday of the previous week.  Please include desired time, date, and lesson title.  You will receive a confirmation e-mail by 3pm on the Friday before the session.  Space is limited.

Sessions
Weekly on Monday nights at the indoor Stephen C. O'Connell Center Pool.  Summer sessions will begin Monday, May 19, 2008.
