Exercise Philosophy- I
believe that exercise is imperative for everyone and that there is no better
time than the present to get started! Many people are intimidated by exercise
and consequently scare themselves away from it. I believe however that exercise
is something everyone should enjoy and that the type of exercise people use can
be vastly different, but I think the important thing is finding a mode of
exercise you enjoy. I think the purpose of exercise is to be able to get the
most out of life, and the most out of every day. To me that means that we can
do the activities and the things we enjoy, without our own body being what
restricts us. This philosophy has led me to believe that in order to achieve
this one must focus on all the components of fitness, Strength, Endurance, Flexibility,
and Body Composition. I believe that exercise is the portal to a healthier,
happier and more fulfilling life.
Personal interests and hobbies-I have
always been physically active, and enjoyed it. Iâ??ve ran track, done swim team,
played volleyball, and played lacrosse, but enjoy almost every other sport,
especially basketball, football , and soccer. Currently I mostly train hypertrophy,
run and swim. I enjoy working out and getting a good sweat going. I love
training people and helping them achieve their goals. I also teach swimming,
from little kids to high school swim team level I am into music and play in
ska/reggae band- trumpet, guitar and
sing.
